Event Information - Audit Department "Low Salt, Low Sugar" Nutrition Talk | "Eating Out Wisely"
Hong Kong's busy workers are always on the go, often eating out or at irregular times, making it easy to fall into the "three highs" trap (high blood pressure, high blood sugar, high cholesterol)! The Wan Chai District Health Centre was honored to invite a registered dietitian to deliver a practical and relatable "Low Salt, Low Sugar" nutrition talk for colleagues at the Audit Department! The theme, "Eating Out Wisely," targets the health pitfalls of eating out, empowering participants to make smart, tasty, and balanced food choices while steering clear of the "three highs" threat! During the talk, the dietitian shared simple dietary principles to navigate the "three highs" traps when eating out, including low-salt tips , sugar-control techniques , and heart-healthy choices. Participants responded enthusiastically, sharing their dining habits, with the dietitian providing on-the-spot answers to their practical dietary questions . The Wan Chai District Health Centre is dedicated to simplifying health knowledge and promoting low-salt, low-sugar messages!
